The course is based on activity-based teaching, making it easier for children aged 3 years old and above to absorb knowledge. Stories, nursery rhymes, and other supplementary methods are used to help children develop accurate pronunciation and conversational skills, which will help in the current primary school Putonghua curriculum.

Lai Bing Chiu Art Center was founded by art educator Mr. Lai Bing Chiu in 1959. Since its establishment, the center has adhered to Mr. Lai’s passion and philosophy for children’s education, striving to promote a diverse approach to art education that supports children’s growth in virtue, intellect, physical development, social skills, and artistic appreciation. Mr. Lai firmly believed that artistic activities could inspire creativity, boost self-confidence, and cultivate excellent character, leaving a profound impact on children.

For this term’s “Children’s Creative Art Class,” we are delighted to have Mr. Lai’s daughter, Ms. Maya Lai Yee Ying, personally teach our students. Growing up learning painting under her father’s guidance, Ms. Lai has inherited Mr. Lai Bing Chiu’s teaching philosophy. She believes that “creativity” can be expressed not only through painting but also in handmade art creations. Therefore, she has specially designed a “Children’s Creative Workshop” course.

To make the class more enriching, Ms. Lai hopes to incorporate craft-making activities along with painting. This addition will enhance the class’s appeal and provide children with a more varied and enjoyable learning experience.

- Teaching language in English.

- For children aged 3-6, the class uses various lesson designs based on real life topics to help children enhance the fundamental skills needed for painting, including observation, imagination and creativity.

- Each class involves creating art using materials such as pastels, poster paints, acrylic paints, and mixed media.

- A certificate of completion will be awarded upon finishing the course.

“Comprehensive Phonics and English Reading Development Programme” is a programme which aims to develop in every pupil the ability to read independently with comprehension. It also aims to develop in them the love for reading, for them to be prepared for their future studies and for the challenges of this fast - changing world.

Our school organizes fun-filled Summer Camp every year which is popular among Funful students as well as non-Funful students, in the hope of broadening the children’s horizon during the holiday period. We have designed a series of summer activities to suit the children and has always been well received by the parents. Our objective is to provide children with an educational programme in a relaxed and safe environment for them to grow and learn with confidence. Content: Comprehensive Language Programme,English Drama, English and Putonghua Recitation, Musical Rhythm, Creative Arts& Crafts, Bible Stories,Science, Games and Food-Tasting.

"ActiveKids" programme allows children to learn and develop interests through fun, entertaining and educational hands-on activities. This year, we have invited "ActiveKids" to hold workshops as part of our Summer Camp 2025.We are confident that this programme which includes Science Adventures, Stormy Chefs, Art Crafters, and RoboCodewill arouse the children’s interest in learning, as well as enabling them to have a fun-filled learning experience.
